Pacific Destinations Groups team and Sydney Management enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with the Marriott Sydney Harbour Hotel last week!
We are organising a large seminar group for Sydney and we had a great time on site.
We were pampered for breakfast with pastries, fruit, mini egg rolls, and croissants. All set up in a vibrant setting at the Boulevard outside the hotel. The Director of Sales Manager Adam Leonard, Tagan Zarb (Sales Executive) and Camila Liu (Sales Coordinator) really looked after us. He shared with us fantastic stories about historic figure William Pitt (think Pitt Street) and the top 10 things within a 10-minute walk of the Marriott. It’s a great location – the Rocks, Circular Quay, the Bridge, Opera House, Botanical Gardens, partying in the city…
The historic architecture and high ceilings leave you with a great feeling. Plus open style restaurant, and an amazing amount of meeting rooms, many with harbour views. The rooms all have famous Australian names and contemporary features like smart pads for immediate service.
The floor plan is a triangle and there three different types of view according to the views. There is a fantastic heated pool as well.
For us the best was enjoying the secrets of the hotel. First, the hotel lobby space has its own scent as well as each room. Second, a cute terrace space to hold a cocktail party!!! And third, the early arrival lounge – tea, coffee and full bathroom facilities.
A great Sydney hotel destination.
